IT, PELICAN PARTNER ON BENNIGAN'S LOCATIONS
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL - Incredible Technologies has announced an agreement with Pelican Communications Inc., a coin-op management company, to represent and manage IT's line of products in all U.S. Bennigan's locations. The goal of the agreement is to expand IT product placement beyond traditional coin-op markets. PCI management will oversee and administer the entire Bennigan's program and will act as the main contact for operators selected to participate. IT will manufacture a Bennigan's-branded "Golden Tee Fore! 2005" tournament cabinet that will be sold through PCI for use in Bennigan's locations. According to IT, PCI plans to conduct a series of nationwide contests and promotions in Bennigan's locations employing IT's new FACTS software. (FACTS or "Free Automated Contest and Tournament Software," is IT's latest generation CPR2 program that allows ITNet operators to facilitate the setup, advertisements, promotions and contests of registered IT machines.) The exclusive promotions will include Bennigan's and its sponsors in events designed to drive traffic to the machines and entice players to stay and play longer. AAMA ANNOUNCES MATCHING FUND CHALLENGE FOR POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL , From now until July 22, every dollar donated to the Political Action Committee of the American Amusement Machine Association, up to the legal maximum of $5,000 per person, will be matched by an anonymous donor who is an AAMA member. DAVE & BUSTER'S Q4 NET UP 119.6%
DALLAS , Dave & Buster's today announced its results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended Feb. 1, 2004. Total revenue for the quarter increased 0.2%, or $0.2 million, to $100.0 million from $99.8 million in the fourth quarter last year. Revenue from comparable stores decreased 2% over the previous year's Q4. Net income for the quarter rose 119.6% to $7.0 million. For the fiscal year ended Feb. 1, 2004, total revenue was $362.8 million compared to $373.8 million last year, a 2.9% decline. Amusement and other revenue were down 5.5%, while food and beverage revenue declined only 50 basis points for the fiscal year. Revenue from comparable stores decreased 4.7% over last year. D&B's operates 33 locations throughout the United States and Canada.
