MESA, AZ -- Pyramid Technologies Inc. is shipping its Aqua line of bill validators after more than a year of field-testing under all types of weather conditions.
The company described the new line as the weatherproof solution for outdoor, wet or high-humidity atmospheric conditions. Its vertical sensor technology makes it weather-resistant and minimizes maintenance. The validators come equipped with a built-in water drainage path and rear port. The electronics are housed in a specially designed enclosure to ensure consistent, reliable performance.

"The exceptional performance of this unit -- having undergone the most intensive field test in memory -- should remove the headache for operators working in tough environments."
Pyramid Technologies is based in Meza, AZ, where it manufactures banknote acceptors used by the vending, amusement and gaming industries. In addition to the Aqua line, Pyramid offers the Apex series, the Trilogy, which accepts bills up to 85mm. wide, and the Curve line, which has additional bill path security.
