TOKYO -- Namco Bandai and Nintendo will debut their new coin-operated videogame Mario Kart: Arcade GP DX at the Japan Amusement Expo , which takes place on Feb. 15 and 16 at Makuhari Messe here. The event combines the 50th annual Amusement Machine Show with the 32nd annual Amusement Operators Union show.

The game may incorporate the glider mechanics seen earlier in a consumer videogame, Mario Kart 7. According to videogame news site IGN, the new arcade piece may also incorporate an onboard camera that puts players' faces onscreen. One mode will enable up to four players to compete simultaneously.
