CONNELLSVILLE, PA – CRH Catering has filed a lawsuit against James Vending for allegedly assuming control of vending operations at a West Virginia hospital where the Connellsville, PA, company had an exclusive contract.
CRH Catering is seeking $64,463 in lost sales (over two years) and more than $50,000 in punitive damages from Lemont Furnace, PA-based James Vending, according to The Tribune-Review (Pittsburgh).
James Vending allegedly took over the vending services at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins, WV, last December, even though CRH had a contract to provide the services through 2015. CRH charges in the suit that James Vending removed its machines from the hospital and has since provided vending services to the facility.
