BRISTOL, PA -- Megatouch LLC said it has released version 3.4.4 for its Megatouch Live software. The latest version features 10 new HD games, four of which also are available for the company's Tournamaxx Classic.
A highlight of the software release is Air Guardian Escape, reminiscent of a retro arcade game, in which players must pilot a helicopter over and under obstacles without colliding with them. A new implementation of Bottletop Drop challenges competitors to maneuver craft-brew beer bottletops by touching, dragging and dropping images on the touchscreen; the object is to assemble matches of three or more during 35 rounds of intense gameplay. Both are available for Tournamaxx as well as Megatouch Live.
Two new card games and three dice poker recreations also are included in the release. Clocker Solitaire (and its symbol counterpart, Close the Clock) is said to offer a "stylish twist" on traditional solitaire. Both styles of this game also are offered for Tournamaxx machines.
Final Table: Blackjack is a new wrinkle on the always-popular Twenty-One game; this implementation is said to put the odds back in the player's favor by offering an "Aces up your Sleeve" feature.
Bone-rolling enthusiasts have not been forgotten either. Three varieties of poker dice in the Megatouch Live release include 5 Dice Poker, Penthouse 5 Dice Poker and Hunks 5 Dice Poker.
Rounding out the new release are Photo Hunt Expedition III, which builds on the popularity of its predecessors and features "tons of hidden objects" in 19 all-new levels, and Cardboard Chaos: Zombie Edition, described as an "undead take on a classic carnival shooter." An attention-getting trailer of Cardboard Chaos has been added to the Megatouch Live attract mode.
