Two new pieces are now available from Smart Industries. Crack the Code is an intriguing self-merchandising game that challenges players to match a series of rotating numbers to the correct safe combination. A successful match awards players an opportunity to vend a minor prize or risk it in order to try for a major prize.

The attractive steel blue cabinet motif and wide open prize visibility is supplemented with a single coin mech and engaging light and sound package. It comes equipped with dolly casters and measures 26" W. x 31" D. x 79" H., making for easy installation through standard doorways. The company touts the game as a natural for fun center or bar placement.

Smart’s Hollywood Photobooth is now packed in a slimmer, feature-filled adaptation of the factory’s sitdown 3-in-1 photobooth. It retains much of the earlier models’ capabilities and gear such as pose options (one, two or four poses, backgrounds and zany characters), 3.5" H. x 5" W. glossy prints, optional email/movie package and Sony digital camera and printer. The new all-metal cabinet design reduces its cumulative size by 12"; it also permits interchangeable decals for location-specific customization. It comes equipped with Mars bill validator, LCD flat-screen monitor and wedding or special event mode settings for rental opportunities.

Smart Industries is based in Des Moines, IA, and can be reached at (800) 553-2442 or online at smartind.com. The company got its start in the early 1960s as a traveling arcade, providing games for fairs, festivals and carnivals in the Midwest. It began manufacturing crane machines in the 1980s.
