TOKYO -- The 2011 All Nippon Amusement Machine Operators' Union Amusement Expo, also known as the AOU Show, took place here Feb. 18. Leading Japanese game manufacturers offered a first look at numerous new videogames and skill games. Some games shown at the event are expected to be introduced into the U.S. market later this year.

According to some fan sites, Namco Bandai displayed Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and a new Gundam game, along with Super Mario Bros., Wii Coin World and Maximum Heat, a racing video featuring flip-down 3D glasses on a flexible arm.

Sega was also in the 3D arena with the large sitdown simulator Let's Go Island 3D. Additional Sega games at AOU included Border Break Air Burst and Hatsune Miku Project Diva Arcade Version A, along with Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, Shining Force Cross: Raid, StarHourse 3 and Chaos Code, a martial arts fighting game.

Taito combined the music and shooting video genres with Music GunGun 2. Other Taito titles were Haunted Museum II, Vewlix and Aquapazza: AqualPlus Dream Match.

Konami spotlighted Love Plus Arcade, Guitar Freaks XG2 and Drum Mania XG2.
