WATERBURY, VT -- Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. has reached a multiyear deal with Eight O'Clock Coffee Co. to make its namesake coffee and Good Earth and Tetley teas available in K-Cup and Vue packs for Keurig single-cup brewing systems. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Eight O'Clock coffee K-Cup packs will be available beginning this fall for home and away-from-home markets in the U.S. and Canada. They will also be sold on Green Mountain's consumer-direct websites. The 150-year-old brand has long been a top-selling whole-bean coffee in the grocery channel.
The iconic Tetley brand and Good Earth herbal and specialty teas will join the K-Cup collection in 2013. Tetley will roll out in the U.S., and Good Earth tea portion packs will be available in the U.S. and Canada.
