Factory Ships King Of The Big Wheel; Settles Into New San Jose Digs
Global VR announced that it has granted England's JNC Sales distribution rights for its entire line of coin-op amusement games sold in the United Kingdom and Ireland. JNC replaces United Distributing Co. (London) as Global's official sales and service representative in those markets.
JNC Sales, a family-owned operation based in Avonsmouth, Bristol, England, has supplied the UK with coin-op products and service for more than 40 years. Its team is led by John Clarke, managing director; Tom Clarke, technical director; John Jennings, financial director; Mike Smith, sales director; and Ian Aston, operations director. The company is online at jnc-sales.co.uk.
Based in San Jose, CA, Global VR designs and manufactures coin-operated videogames. Nascar Team Racing, Need for Speed Carbon, Twisted Nitro Stunt Racing and Blazing Angels are among its current titles.
The factory is also marketing a new redemption game, King of the Big Wheel. By pulling the handle multiple times, players spin the wheel as fast as possible before the number of tickets won is determined. Available in standard and deluxe sizes, King of the Big Wheel's whimsical theme, colorful graphics and distinct jungle soundtrack draw players.
More information about the amusement machine company can be had at globalvr.com. In December, Global VR moved to a new location: 1955 Concourse Dr., San Jose, CA 95131. The phone (408-597-3400) and fax numbers are unchanged.
