VANCOUVER, BC, Canada -- Canadian Healthy Vending is enabling users of its Max! venders to have a say in their planograms with its new Max Menu 2.0 online menu system.
Every machine is registered in the program, which allows patrons to search online for specific products for their location, or to browse for items they might be interested in buying that are not currently included in their planograms.
Nearly 1,000 products are featured in Max Menu 2.0. Every request a customer makes is forwarded directly to the operator's smartphone. Operators are able to review all customer suggestions and make ordering decisions based on customer input at each location.
Max Menu 2.0 lists the brand and product name of each item along with a picture. "We hope to encourage healthy vending machine customers to see the Max! Healthy Vending Machines not only as a source of snacks and drinks that are better for them, but also as a source of information about healthy snacking options," said CHV's Ed Thompson.
Based in Vancouver, CHV manufactures and distributes the Max! Healthy Vending Machine. Its high-resolution display screen provides nutritional information for product offerings and information about community health initiatives.
