ASHBURN, VA -- Online startup Snack & Munch has launched an e-commerce site that attempts to go head to head with the breakroom vending machine.
Customers log onto snackandmunch.com and choose 24 snacks from a selection of 250 to create a customized "snack pack." For $24, including shipping, the order is delivered to their homes or offices.
The snack selections are displayed planogram style -- categorized as cookies, chips and crackers, gum and mints, and nuts, as well as international items.
Customers can purchase a one-time order, or set up a monthly recurring shipment and save $1 an order.
