PHILADELPHIA -- Aramark has joined forces with Cooking Light magazine in an exclusive multiyear agreement that will expand the foodservice company's wellness offerings into North American business and industry locations.
The relationship provides Aramark with access to magazine's recipes. It also aids the ongoing development of healthy foods by opening the door to branded Cooking Light demonstration stations in its client locations. Employees will be able to enjoy a freshly prepared Cooking Light breakfast, lunch or snack item and learn tips and techniques from the onsite Aramark chef.
The station will also provide employees with a Cooking Light recipe card, and its accompanying nutritional information, so cooking techniques can be replicated at home. Additionally, Aramark will make the magazine available for purchase in select locations.
To date, six Cooking Light demonstration stations have been opened in several states nationwide. Additional client locations will open in major marketplaces on a biweekly basis throughout 2010.
