NORTHFIELD, IL -- Kraft's international snack business, will be headquartered in Deerfield, IL, after it separates from the company's North American grocery unit later this year.
The snack company, called Mondelēz International, will relocate some 400 employees to the custom-designed 105,000-sq.ft. facility at 3 Parkway North in Deerfield. Kraft Foods, the grocery spinoff, will remain at the company's current Northfield, IL, headquarters.
Mondelēz's Deerfield location was first reported by Crain's Chicago Business.
Kraft announced last month that it is moving its stock listing to the Nasdaq from the New York Stock Exchange ahead of its plans to divide into two publicly traded companies. | SEE STORY
