Benchmark Trap Door

HYPOLUXO, FL -- Now available from Benchmark Games is Trap Door, a new prize redemption piece that challenges players to stop a spinning light in the right spot for a chance to open a "trap door," by turning a crank, to release a sizeable plush prize.

Trap Door may turn out to be a real crowd-pleaser, observes Benchmark's Al Kress, who points out that the game creates anticipation among spectators watching a player trying to open the door. During gameplay, the trap door slowly opens in intervals, getting closer to dropping the prize, which encourages play until someone wins. Players described by Benchmark as "very skillful in their timing" have a greater chance of stopping the spinning light on the instant jackpot.

The game is stocked with 16" plush, which falls down a delivery chute after a win. Features include LED lighting for long-lasting service, a mousetrap snap claw, support for swipe cards and operator-adjustable pricing. Trap Door measures 85" H. x 42" W. x 31" D.

Prize reloading is also part of Trap Door's visual appeal. To prepare for a new game, the claw mechanism automatically retrieves another plush unit and drops it on the door apparatus.

"We've created a most entertaining and player-involved game while bringing a new product to our industry," Kress said. "Trap Door is a low-maintenance, high-revenue merchandiser game."

Sales information can be had by calling Benchmark's Rich Long at (561) 588-5200.
