TOKYO -- (Posted May 21) Sega Corp. this week posted a net profit of 3.05 billion yen, approximately $26 million, for fiscal 2003 ended March 31, its first positive result in six years. The video game maker also named Hisao Oguchi new president, effective June 27. Oguchi, a 20-year veteran Sega game developer who is currently a senior officer of the company, said the company will remain independent in Japan but may seek partners in overseas markets, especially the U.S. |
