MORRISVILLE, NC -- The North Carolina Vending Association has announced an extensive educational program for its upcoming annual conference. It's set for June 2 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Greensboro.
The event gets under way with a board meeting and the association's annual membership meeting, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. After a break, the educational sessions lead off with a presentation on "the road ahead for natural-gas vehicles in vending services" by Greg Johnson of Piedmont Natural Gas (Atlanta), which will conclude at 3:30 p.m.
From 3:30 to 4:15 p.m., Randy Smith and Steve Sprinkle of LightSpeed Automation (Alpharetta, GA) will explore "pre-kitting: the power and the profits." LightSpeed markets a warehouse automation system that speeds and simplifies stock picking. The education program wraps up with a presentation on loss prevention.
Evening goings-on get under way with a reception and "50:50" PAC fund raffle at 6:30 p.m. and conclude with dinner at 7 p.m.
NCVA is inviting all vending industry professionals to attend the meeting. Those wishing to take advantage of this opportunity are asked to submit a registration form, downloadable from the association's website, by May 28, 2010.
