TEMECULA, CA -- Vend-it-Hot is among the new full-line vending machines rolling out this year. The combination vender can hold popular food items under refrigeration, reheat them during the vend cycle and deliver them to the patron ready to eat.
According to Vendture, which manufactures the machine, Vend-it-Hot uses a patented gravity-driven delivery system to transport a cold food selection through the rethermalization process in about a minute. The machine incorporates familiar helix dispensing shelves and health control. It can be menued to offer either hot food only, or hot and cold food plus snacks and/or refrigerated beverages.
The system is said to use few moving parts, and to employ microwave energy to reheat the food. It can accommodate a wide variety of prepackaged convenience items, from hamburgers to desserts.
Vend-it-Hot machines are offered in two models, the narrower VIH 3000 (three wide selections per shelf) and the wider VIH 5000 (five wide selections). They run on standard 110VAC power, and feature an Ethernet network interface and integrated reporting software.
