Coast to Coast Friction Coast to Coast Entertainment is now shipping four new coin-op amusements that made their debut in late fall. These include the company's first target-shooting simulator, a coin-vortex redemption piece, a mini crane for wall mounting and a coin pusher.

The gun game is a coin-op implementation of a design developed by Friction Game Studio (Los Angeles) and, thus, named Friction. The two-player game is supplied as an economical kit that will fit into a wide range of commonly available cabinets and accommodate any suitable CGA, EGA or VGA monitors. The company is putting the finishing touches on a dedicated large-screen version. Further insight into the game concept may be found at frictiongamestudios.com.

Lucky Zone is an easy-to-grasp redemption game that invites the player to drop a coin into a vortex cone, where it spins around and hurtles out onto a spinning turntable beneath the cone. It is said to appeal to players of all ages. A version is available to accommodate swipe cards, making it suitable for use in many family entertainment centers as well as street locations.

Mini Hot Stuff, Blazing Quarters, Lucky ZoneMini Hot Stuff is designed to extend the appeal of Coast to Coast's popular Hot Stuff crane line into smaller locations where space is scarce. It is supplied with a wall-mounting bracket, and incorporates the same electronics package as the company's larger cranes. Mini Hot Stuff is enhanced by bright LED lighting on both sides of the front to attract the attention of location patrons.

Blazing Quarters is a coin-in, coin-out pusher, designed by an operator and offered in two styling options to conform to the tastes of any location and clientele. Its extensive range of features includes a "rapid fire" shooting handle that enables the player to project as many as 20 coins onto the playfield in a few seconds. One styling theme includes the Mexican flag.

Sayreville, NJ-based Coast to Coast Entertainment LLC markets redemption games and skill cranes ("diggers") for  family entertainment centers and street locations. The company also supplies a wide range of prize and redemption items, from plush toys through jewelry to candy. It's online at cranemachines.com. Information also may be had by calling the company at (800) 224-1717.
