RICHLAND HILLS, TX -- Champion Shuffleboard Ltd., which also owns the Valley, Dynamo and Tornado table game brands, is planning to introduce a line of pool tables for the home recreation market. The new pool table line will be complemented by Champion's shuffleboard, foosball and air hockey tables for dealers of home recreation products.
The company is reportedly expanding its factory capabilities here to support the new product line, which it hopes will strengthen its position in the competitive home recreation space. Champion will also be able to offer dealers access to a complete product lineup from the same shipping location, delivered on the same truck.
Additionally, Champion home products will have a variety of matching wood and stain choices applied at the factory before shipping; customization services will also be offered. "Imagine the dramatic look of matching a Champion shuffleboard, Valley pool table, Dynamo hockey and Tornado foosball all set in the same location or private game room," company officials said.
Separately, Champion announced that it is planning to add several improvements to its world-renowned shuffleboard tables. These include the elimination of exposed hardware and metal seam covers in assembled units, as well as enhancements to the table's finish quality and optional drawers for storage. Champion is also expanding choices of wood species from which tables are built.
