BRUSSELS, Belgium -- The European Vending Association will hold its annual General Assembly on Dec. 12. This is an election year for the EVA presidency and executive committee members, and ratifying the new leadership will be an important task for the membership meeting that leads off the event.
Participants will then be invited to a novel evening reception and gala dinner, which will take place in a distinctive venue: the BMW showroom in Brussels.
On Dec. 13, the EVA will host a workshop on that will attempt to scrutinize vending trends across Europe. Building on the success of the Image of Vending workshop that EVA conducted two years ago, the association again is planning a far-reaching program that will cover all aspects of the workshop's theme.
This year, participants will have the opportunity to choose from an array of topical roundtable discussions. They include current trends and beyond, price and overhead increases and cross-industry cooperation, along with "premiumization" of the coffee and capsule technology in vending. Identifying vending's opportunity for real growth will be another roundtable topic.
