BYRON, GA -- Kooler Ice is touting its newest ice and water vending machine as a "green" alternative to route-based ice delivery.
The IM1000 automatically produces, stores and bags fresh ice on demand. It features a bag-changing system that can hold up to 750 bags at a time.
The vender can produce up to 150 10-lb. bags of ice in a day and store up to 1,000 lbs. Machines can be ordered from the factory with a choice of three icemakers to best serve each location's capacity requirements. They can also be equipped with a filtered or RO water vending system that allows patrons to fill their own one- or five-gallon bottles.
The machine is equipped with a communications system. Icetalk 4000 keeps operators informed about machines and allows them to control important machine functions from smartphones or desktop computers.
