PHOENIX -- The National Bulk Vendors Association has named Matt Miller, Marzs Vending (Kingwood, TX), chairman of its next seminar program.
NBVA president Steven Schechner, Capital Vending (Florence, AL), said the association's choice for its seminar chairman is well deserved, noting that Miller is not only a longtime and knowledgeable bulk vendor, but he is also the winner of the association's Most Innovative Operator award (2012).
This year's bulk vending workshop will follow a new format. Rather than interspersing the educational schedule around three days of exhibits, all seminars will take place on one day -- Tuesday, March 25 -- the day before the trade show opens. The NBVA show is collocated with Amusement Expo, which takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center on March 26 and 27.
Because of the change in format, NBVA said it is planning an expanded workshop program, and is expected to announce further details soon.
Founded in 1950, the NBVA is based in Phoenix and is managed by a board of directors who volunteer their time. The 2014 NBVA conference will be the fourth year that the bulk vending trade collocates with Amusement Expo, which is jointly sponsored by the Amusement and Music Operators Association and American Amusement Machine Association.
