DALLAS -- Avanti Markets, a main player in self-checkout markets, returned here March 5 and 6 for its second annual operators meeting, following its inaugural event last winter. More than 150 vending operators and suppliers attended the two-day meeting, where Avanti executives unveiled new features and programs for the company’s micromarkets.
Operators of the self-checkout stores and suppliers of products for them shared sales and marketing strategies during a series of education sessions. Roundtable discussions provided a forum for operators to exchange experiences and strategies for the up-and-coming retail model.
