NEW YORK CITY -- Vending favorites like M&Ms, Snickers and Kit-Kat -- off limits in City Hall under former Mayor Michael Bloomberg -- have reportedly made a triumphant return to vending machines.

The New York Post reported that no one at City Hall could explain the change in snack policy under Mayor Bill de Blasio's administration, especially since Bloomberg's obsession with public health policy was among the few things with which the new mayor was in agreement.

But no one seems to be complaining. "The nanny has left the building, so now if I want Twix bars or Doritos for lunch, I can finally have them without having to leave the building," one staffer told the Post.
