WILKES-BARRE, PA -- A. Rifkin Co. has introduced an online video that demonstrates the convenience of its keyless security bags. The three-minute video may be viewed at www.arifkin.com/keylessvideo, and also is posted on YouTube.
Available in a variety of configurations, Rifkin keyless security bags are reusable heavy-duty fabric pouches fitted with a patented security-locking feature. This consists of a zipper-like closure that may be secured by inserting a uniquely numbered one-time-use seal into a plastic draw-latch fastener.
The pouch has a see-through panel into which a routing-card can be inserted from the interior of the bag before securing it. The sender identifies the recipient on the card and writes the seal number next to this direction, then inserts the card beneath the window panel, closes the "zip chamber" and inserts the numbered seal. Releasing the latch toggle breaks off the seal's attaching prongs.
A. Rifkin was established in the late 19th century, and began producing secure cash-handling bags for banks during the Great Depression. It is well known to the vending industry for its durable collection and deposit bags. The company has a long line of firsts to its credit, including the patented ArcoLock locking bag closure developed before World War II and the new ArcoTrack GPS asset locating system that may be used to track the position of a protected bag in near-real-time. It also offers security seals and labels, a wide range of bank supplies, key control systems and a variety of related document-handling bags.
The company is headquartered at 1400 Sans Souci Pkwy., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18706; tel. (800) 458-7300; fax (800) 825-8284.
