CHICAGO -- Raw Thrills and its Play Mechanix subsidiary continue to build on the success of their breakthrough hunting videogame series with a new model, Big Buck World. The new game combines the popular features of Big Buck Safari and Big Buck Hunter Open Season in a single product, and incorporates some new ones.

The latest Big Buck shooter will be available in a standard model with 27" monitor, a dedicated 42" LCD deluxe version and a 120" super deluxe top-end variant. Displayed on these screens is a wider range of targets, including the ibex, rusa deer (from Java) and blackbuck introduced in the company's Big Buck Safari upgrade. There also are 18 trophy animals and 77 surprise "crazy critter" targets, offering opportunities for additional points.

The targets appear in an expanded array of environments, offering 51 scenic treks through 255 hunting sites across four continents -- Africa, Asia, Australia and North America. And 51 bonus games add play appeal and maintain patron interest, while a new 2-on-2 shootout mode called "team play" provides a new feature designed to appeal to competitive players.

Software upgrades will be offered for all configurations of Big Buck Hunter Pro, Raw Thrills' first title in the hunting series, along with Open Season and Safari.

Raw Thrills pointed out that many operators preparing for the fall earnings season have purchased new Big Buck Hunter products for their best locations, and so the videogame company will honor those purchases with Big Buck World. All purchases of Open Season or Safari from Sept. 1, 2010, can qualify for a no-charge software upgrade to Big Buck World when it becomes available. This offer includes all product configurations: the standard 27" upright, 42" deluxe, Open Season full conversion kits and Open Season software updates. This upgrade will include a CD, dongle and Big Buck World marquee.

"Big Buck World is the perfect opportunity for operators to maximize earnings on their hunting cabinets," said Play Mechanix president George Petro.

Information on the Big Buck Hunter line and other Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix equipment may be had from Betson (Carlstadt, NJ), which markets their products, by calling (800) 524-2343 or emailing info@betson.com.
