PHOENIX, AZ -- The National Bulk Vendors Association has appointed seven members to its board of directors, according to NBVA president Bernie Schwarzli of Beaver Machine Corp.
The new board members are Tom Gasper, Community Vending Services (Bethel, PA); George Carque, C-5 Vending (Henderson, NV); Diane Olson, Northwestern Corp.; Ken Silverman, ABC Vending Products; Shawn Dumphy, SSM Vending; Allan Pollock, Aftica Vend (Ridgeway, ON, Canada); and Steve Kovens of A&A Global Industries.
The association's Nominating Committee chose the new members, and they were approved at a general membership meeting during the recent NBVA convention in Las Vegas. | SEE STORY
The new board members possess a wide range of experience and industry perspectives, NBVA said. They will fill out the organization's 21-member board, replacing the seven officials who completed their terms.
Founded in 1950, the National Bulk Vendors Association is a national not-for-profit trade association representing manufacturers, suppliers and operators involved in bulk merchandise vending. Some 300 companies are NBVA members, but the industry estimates that there are several thousand small and part-time operators of bulk vending machines.
NBVA is base at 3240 East Union Hills Dr., Ste. 129, Phoenix, AZ 85050; (888) NBVA-USA.
