LONDON -- Datateam Business Media, a B2B communications company, has joined forces with vending veteran Paul Howard to create a special one-day vending exhibition. FmVend will take place on May 20, 2014, at Old Billingsgate in London.
According to the organizers, fmVend will stand out from other industry shows in that it will encourage regional and national vending operators to exhibit alongside suppliers. It will showcase new products and services, and target facility managers who oversee business and industry, healthcare, education, hotels and restaurants, among other venues.
"I'm delighted to be involved with this exciting new venture that will help operators, suppliers, and ultimately the end user promote the services of vending to the facility manager," said Howard.
Howard is managing director of Nebrak, a UK-based manufacturer of area treatments for vending and foodservice. He was also chairman of AVEX 13, the biannual UK vending exhibition and a board member of the Automatic Vending Association.
Datateam Business Media event director Hannah Dedman noted that an exhibit catering to vending operators, suppliers and facility managers is a logical strategy.
