SAYREVILLE, NJ -- Coast to Coast Entertainment LLC has upgraded all of its four-color printing presses over the past nine months. The presses are used to produce redemption tickets, made from a virgin paper that virtually eliminates dust. This high-quality stock imprinted by a sophisticated press yields a ticket of outstanding appearance and handling qualities that enable ticket dispensers and "eaters" to function optimally, explained Coast to Coast's Gary Balaban.
"We added the state-of-the-art Observer 3000 Pro Mark Edition Laser Alignment system," Balaban said. This ensures that each color employed in the four-color process prints in register with the other three; out-of-register printing produces blurry graphics.
"We are now using lasers to watch and record each and every ticket," he observed. "If an error is detected, the machine will automatically know and adjust itself for a crisp, sharp image. The laser is much more accurate than the human eye."
Balaban added, "As FEC owners ourselves, we know what we like, and we try to provide that to our customers."
Coast To Coast's sales of redemption tickets have increased over the past three years. The company produces generic and custom tickets. "Customers are finding our tickets make their lives easier as they run better in their machines," said the company's James Chapman.
