LAS VEGAS -- VendEver LLC reports that it has acquired larger facilities in nearby Henderson, NV. This has enabled the company to augment its testing and post-manufacturing production processes to ramp up output of its Cotton Candy Factory vending machines.
"We needed the space to increase the number of machines and ensure each of our machines are thoroughly tested," explained chief executive Rick Leffke. "Each machine is then certified after a 200-vend test by a certified specialist before leaving our loading dock."
The Cotton Candy Factory is manufactured in Taiwan and assembled in Nevada for shipment to North American customers in the United States, Canada and Mexico. It has found wide favor as a crossover technology that can be run profitably by vending and amusement operators alike.
The appeal of cotton candy is the low product cost and the high-perceived value of the finished item. Ingredients cost about 10ยข, and the machine can command vend prices in the $1 to $3 range. A number of financing programs are available.
