LAKEWOOD, NJ -- Elaut USA reports that it has responded to growing demand by setting up a website dedicated to parts for its popular cranes. The company noted that parts sales have tripled in the past year, as it has devoted more attention to parts support.
The new website, located at elautparts.com, lists hundreds of parts, with more added every day. It's intended for use by U.S. customers only; international orders cannot be honored.
Operators who register at the site by Oct. 31 can receive either free shipping or $25 off their first orders, whichever is greater. According to the manufacturer, the site is easy to navigate, and features a search window in which users can enter a part name or number. Customers who attain certain purchasing volumes will be offered discounts on pricing on the site.
"This has been a long time in development," said Jack Guarnieri, president and chief executive. "I wanted to do this two years ago, but we finally got it up and running. It's a great resource for our thousands of loyal customers."
Plans call for adding instructional video clips to assist in troubleshooting, as well as a list of frequently asked questions.
Elaut USA describes the site as completely transactional, and explained that users have many secure online payment options. Parts ship the same day orders are received. A vast inventory of parts is available, as are ready-to-go new and rebuilt crane claws and advance replacement parts.
The company observed that many Elaut cranes put out on location in the 1980s are still earning money. Some legacy parts are still available -- and, if the website does not list a desired part, the operator can contact Vinny Mula, manager of the Elaut USA parts site, by emailing him at firstname.lastname@example.org. The parts department can also be reached at a new hotline, (877) 373-5225, which rings on all departmental extensions at the same time.
Guarnieri said quick turnaround is offered with advance replacements for controllers, complete claw assemblies and rebuild kits.
