SYRACUSE, NY -- The Betson Enterprises sales office here, known as Betson Advance Distributing, has announced that this year’s annual Upstate New York exposition will be held on April 16 and 17 at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona. The show has grown into one of the largest such events in the northeast, and is expected to attract some 400 trade visitors.
More than 50 manufacturers and suppliers of vending and amusement equipment and accessories will showcase their latest products, and an informative round of educational events is planned.
The 2010 Expo will get under way at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 16, with a New York State Automatic Vending Association member luncheon. At 5 p.m. that same day, a special MEI product introduction and service seminar is on tap, followed by a cocktail reception from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
On Saturday, April 17, the exhibit will open at 9 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. A broad spectrum of contemporary products for vending and amusement operators will be on display, and participants will have the opportunity to learn about financial services, as well as state and national trade associations.
Several informative seminars will be available during the day, including one on “New Customer and Account Growth Through Coffee,” hosted by Betson. Roundtable idea exchanges will encourage operators to swap information and trade suggestions.
The distributorship notes that, in recognition of the show’s steady growth in popularity and regional acclaim, this year’s presentation has been expanded to welcome operators from all of New England and Pennsylvania as well as New York and New Jersey.
Information on the show may be had by calling the Betson Syracuse facility directly at (800) 524-2343, or any Betson office. Registration also will be available online.
