DALLAS -- Embed, a provider of debit card and point-of-sale systems for the amusement and family entertainment industry, has appointed Jason Kort marketing director.
Kort's initial focus will be working with customers on ways to enhance their Embed user experience from a marketing perspective. He will also work with Embed sales, operations and development teams worldwide to ensure a consistent brand experience that drives customer value.
Kort's family entertainment background started at Redemption Plus where he helped develop Redemption University and other educational campaigns. He brings more than 15 years of marketing and advertising experience to Embed, having worked with such clients as Sprint, Blockbuster, Sunlighten and Wal-Mart.
Embed's POS products manage admissions, machine monitoring, cashless operation, loyalty programs, full-prize redemption management and event scheduling, along with retail, food and beverage sales.
