SAN FRANCISCO -- Cantaloupe Systems Inc. and Validata Computer and Research Corp. (Montgomery, AL) have announced the integration of Validata's RouteSail Millennia vending management system (VMS) with Cantaloupe's Seed wireless vending platform.
The bridging of Cantaloupe's SeedSync and Validata's RouteTel products permits combining Cantaloupe's dynamic schedules, based on its real-time wirelessly connected machines, with Validata's predictive flex route algorithms for scheduling unconnected machines.
The companies report that the integration offers vending operators a single cohesive solution by providing one daily schedule, eliminating the need to manage two separate systems or to require duplicate data entry. This greatly enhances efficiencies in routing logistics.
