MELROSE PARK, IL -- Stern Pinball Inc. is now offering two upgrade kits to enhance its existing flipper games. The Shaker Motor and Half-Moon kits are available at reduced pricing through Dec. 31.
The first kit includes a shaker motor, weights, wiring, hardware and cover. All Stern pinball machines produced since June 2011 (from Tron forward) include programming, wiring and predrilled holes for easy kit installation. It's priced at $189.99, not including freight or applicable sales tax.
Cabinet protection art, in the Half-Moon kit, are for pinball games in the Stern Pro families. The half-moon -- a metal semicircle with a hole for the flipper button -- helps protect a machine's cabinet art, which can preserve the asset's resale value. It mounts flush to and below the side armor, and its black-powder coat matches the Pro games' side armor. Each kit includes two half-moons, one for each side, and mounting screws. These kits cost $13.99, not including freight or any applicable sales tax.
