NEW YORK CITY -- Ryan Smith has joined TouchTunes Interactive Networks as director of sales for the East Coast region of the U.S. He had worked with Ecast Inc. for nearly 10 years, most recently as director of network sales.
Smith brings more than 14 years' experience in sales, telecommunications, technology and management to his new post. Prior to joining Ecast, he had been a senior business development analyst at DotPlanet.com Inc. (Atlanta). At Ecast, he started as national sales trainer and moved up to Southeast account manager and East Coast regional sales manager before becoming network sales director.
TouchTunes provides music and other digital content to more than 52,000 bars and restaurants. Its network of digital downloading jukeboxes registered a total of 900 million songs played last year; its music library provides more than three million licensed tracks.
