NEWTON, MA -- Firestone Financial Corp., a 50-year old financial services provider to vending and amusement operators, inducted 12 amusement and music equipment manufacturers and distributors into its 2011 Platinum Partner Club. For the first time since it started the Platinum Partners program six years ago, Firestone inducted equipment operators.
The inductees were honored for their innovation and leadership roles in the industry, and for being among the lender's top partners, which now include sellers and purchasers who use Firestone's financing products, during the previous year. Awards were presented during a ceremony before the opening of the 2012 Amusement Expo in March in Las Vegas.
The 2011 Firestone Financial Platinum Partners Club includes five manufacturers (representatives of which are pictured above) and seven distributors. They are AMI Entertainment Network Inc., Apple Industries, Bay Tek Games, Raw Thrills and TouchTunes Interactive Networks, along with American Vending Sales, Brady Distributing Co., Green Coin Machine, H. Betti Industries, Mountain Coin Machine Distributors, Moss Distributing and Shaffer Distributing Co.
Firestone's inaugural operator award winners are designated Platinum Partners. The inductees are: Ace Amusement Service. Inc., All Florida Amusements Inc., Alligator Computer Systems, Automated Services LLC, Barberio Music Co., Ferris Music Service Inc., Games People Play of Richmond and M&A Group LLC. Also: Medalist Marketing Corp., Miele Inc., Music Vendors Inc., Number One Vending Service, Paramount Vending Inc., Stanton Automatics Inc., Variety Specialties & Amusement and West Coast Amusements.
"We have relationships with some of our customers that go back not just years, but decades," said Firestone vice-president of sales Jim Hines. "Our Platinum Partners have seen the industry go through some dramatic changes and have built sustainable businesses that are well positioned for the future. We are very excited to honor our colleagues."
Firestone Financial in following its annual tradition made a contribution to the American Amusement Machine Charitable Foundation (AAMCF) in honor of the Platinum Partners.
