LAKE GENEVA, WI -- The Illinois Automatic Merchandising Council and the Wisconsin Automatic Merchandising Council are teaming up to host the 2011 Midwest Vending Conference. It is set for May 13 and 14 (Friday and Saturday) at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa here.
The theme of the joint conference is "Back to the Future Again." It is being planned to offer participants a wide variety of networking opportunities and forum to discuss current industry affairs, according to IAMC president Lee Hartnett, Commercial Food Systems (Bridgeview), and WAMC president Tom Konop, The Konop Cos. (Green Bay).
IAMC and WAMC will conduct their annual membership meetings on Saturday. Educational highlights will include a keynote address by employment law attorney Heather Bailey of SmithAmundsen (Chicago), a knowledge source consultant for the National Automatic Merchandising Association, and a wide-ranging series of round-table idea exchanges addressing recent industry developments.
