ALLENDALE, NJ -- The Promotion In Motion Cos. Inc. will offer its top-selling candies in new resealable standup bags beginning in June.
The new packaging will be available for Sour Jacks original and watermelon varieties, Sun-Maid milk chocolate-covered raisins, Nuclear SQWorms, and Tuxedos milk chocolate and dark chocolate-covered almonds. Suggested retail prices range from $1.99 to $2.99 for bag sizes between 5.5 ozs. and 9 ozs.

"The standup bags address a consumer need for convenience and freshness, while providing retailers with easy-to-stock, appealing packaging that will drive category consumption."
The company said that over the last year, stand-up bags have demonstrated the strongest growth of any package type in the candy category, with sales climbing more than 20%.
