LONDON, England -- The organizers of the 2010 Amusement Trades Exhibition International and International Gaming Expo report that more than 240 exhibitors from 40 nations had contracted for exhibit space at the end of August, occupying over 80% of available display space. The collocated shows are set for the ground floor of the Earls Court 1 exhibition center here from Jan. 26 through 28.

Clarion Gaming Exhibitions managing director Julian Graves explained that the exhibitor spectrum ranges from companies involved in low-stakes, high-volume gaming, "land-based" casinos and remote gaming, lotteries, betting and the broad-based leisure and amusements sectors.

"To be 80% full at this stage of the marketing cycle, set against the broader trading backdrop, is extremely encouraging," he said. "The amusements offering comprises a buoyant 51 organizations which have an interest in the sector, with the dedicated ATEI component comprising some 3,700 sq.m. (39,826 sq.ft.) of stand space." The 2010 show will be the 66th presentation of ATEI.

"For visitors, the interface between amusements and gaming is an important one," Graves emphasized. "IGE/ATEI is unique in that it provides buyers with direct access to the originators and developers of product covering the full range of gaming, betting, lotteries and amusements. No other exhibition in the world can offer this choice, this access and this depth."

Some 20,000 visitors are expected to attend the London trade event, which also includes ICEi and The Betting Show. Online registration opened in early October at ige-exhibition.com, atei-exhibition.com and bettingshow.com. The show websites include a wealth of visitor information including discounted hotel deals, exhibitor and product lists, and floorplans, the latest show news, travel information and details on at-show events. The badge registration process also includes automated assistance for visitors requiring a visa to enter the United Kingdom.
