Dave & Buster's Plans New Flagship Store In Dallas

DALLAS -- Dave & Buster's has purchased 5.4 acres on Dallas's North Central Expressway, where it plans to tear down a vacant movie theater to make way for a new 35,000-sq.ft. flagship restaurant and game center.
The property has been rezoned to permit sale of alcoholic beverages. Construction is slated to commence this summer, with completion expected by December. When the new store launches, D&B's said, it will close its present Dallas site on Walnut Hill Lane.
Real estate professionals who assisted with the purchase said Dave and Buster's will use the new site to showcase an updated design with an expanded food and beverage menu along with a larger selection of games.
The amusement/restaurant chain maintains its corporate headquarters in Dallas.
