Fastcorp Sets Rebate Offer For Z400 Food Court Express

Tim Sanford

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — Fastcorp LLC has unveiled its Food Court Express Cold Hard Cash Rebate Program for 2007. The promotion offers operators who purchase a new Z400 Food Court Express machine a total of $1,000 (at wholesale; approximately $2,000 at retail) in product rebates from leading suppliers of frozen food and ice cream.

Participating in the program are Blue Bunny (Wells’ Dairy), Deli Express, Landshire, Lettieri’s, Kraft Foods USA, Nestlé Hand Held Foods Group, Ruiz Foods/El Monterey, White Castle and Windsor Foods.

The Food Court Express can merchandise both single-serving frozen food and frozen snack and dessert items. Built around Fastcorp’s highly successful robotic product retrieval system, the vender incorporates a freezer chest in the base and a computer-controlled vacuum pickup arm. Product in vertical sleeves is loaded into the chest, which thus is able to hold a large number of items at optimum frozen temperature with maximum efficiency.

When a vend is initiated, the controller opens the lid of the chest and positions the pickup arm precisely over the stack containing the desired item. The arm descends, retrieves the product and conveys it smoothly to the delivery bay for easy customer access; the lid closes until the next vend cycle.

According to Fastcorp, the Z400 Food Court Express is fast becoming a preferred food vending solution for a variety of reasons. Frozen vending eliminates food staleage and waste occasioned by perishable, short-shelf-life products. It thus reduces route operating costs, especially fuel and labor. Fastcorp’s frozen food system  maximizes these productivity enhancements through its simple, mechanically reliable robotic-chest freezer design and its high-impact merchandising system that encourages impulse purchases. Incentives supported by major product suppliers make it easier for operators to enjoy these benefits.

Those who do find that the machine helps them make their existing accounts more secure, win new business and improve their bottom lines, the company reports. The machine, already attractively priced, becomes a remarkable bargain with the added savings offered by the product rebate program.
