DENVER -- The Game Exchange of Colorado said it has acquired most of the assets of Mountain Coin Machine Distributors' Denver office from Specialty Coin Distributors.
Mountain Coin recently shut down its offices in Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. Those assets were acquired by Portland, OR-based Specialty Coin in a transaction that closed on Aug. 4. | SEE STORY
The Game Exchange, owned and operated by the Babich family, is one of the Rocky Mountain region's largest distributors of coin-op games, jukeboxes and vending machines. It boasts a 75,000-sq.ft. sales and service center in Denver.
To accommodate anticipated demand spurred by the loss of Mountain Coin, the Game Exchange has hired several former Mountain Coin managers and technicians. They include Jim Seales, who is now the Exchange's customer service manager, and Marv Miner, described as a factory-trained master technician whose expertise includes MEI payment systems and Automatic Products full-line venders.
The Game Exchange of Colorado is based at 2650 West 6th Ave., Denver, CO 80204 and is online at gameexchange.biz. Former Mountain Coin customers can call (303) 893-4300 for more information.
