CORPUS CHRISTI, TX -- The Amusement and Music Operators of Texas will hold its 37th annual convention at the Omni Marina Tower Hotel in Corpus Christi from July 22 to 24.

The convention kicks off on Thursday, July 22, with a board of directors meeting at 3 p.m. An optional golf tournament takes place the morning on the same day at the North Shore Country Club in Portland, TX. Golfers will assemble at 8:30 a.m. and pay $75 for greens fee, cart and box lunch. A casino night party, beginning at 7 p.m., caps the first day.

Business on Friday, July 23, includes a general membership luncheon at noon at which AMOT president Larry Lindelow of Vending Resources Inc. (Houston) will deliver opening remarks. The association's legislative committee chairman, Denis Smith, will follow with a review of the state's upcoming legislative session. Friday's program concludes with a banquet and awards ceremony that gets under way at 7 p.m.

The Texas association's annual convention concludes on Saturday, July 24, at noon. The full program includes continental breakfasts on Friday and Saturday, available from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and a silent auction that opens on Friday morning and closes at noon on Saturday.
