WEST CHESTER, PA -- MEI Inc. has announced a long-term agreement with videogame developer Raw Thrills Inc., which has agreed to change its payment systems specification to MEI for the next three years. Raw Thrills begins its exclusive use of MEI banknote validators with Terminator Salvation Arcade, a new video shooter based on the latest "Terminator" movie.

"Every time a customer's dollar bill is rejected, revenue is lost," said Raw Thrills vice-president Andrew Eloff. "We've made the switch to MEI validators because they offer operators the most value and the highest return on investment." Raw Thrills games are marketed by Betson Enterprises, which is also an MEI reseller and service center.

The MEI Series 2000 bill validator, designed for the amusement market, is now the standard banknote validator in the gamemaker's equipment. Raw Thrills and Betson have begun shipping new machines equipped with this model. MEI has manufactured close to 3 million Series 2000 units.

Chris Felix, MEI's national amusement OEM manager said, "We are excited and honored to be awarded exclusivity on all Raw Thrills machines." He added that the acceptance rate of MEI validators is greater than 98%.
