NEW YORK CITY -- A bad weather forecast for New York City has prompted the National Automatic Merchandising Association to postpone its Gratitude Tour exhibit in the Big Apple to Friday, Sept. 16. It will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m at South Street Seaport (at 89 South St.), where it was originally scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 15.

The Gratitude Tour roadshow started in Boston on Monday and will end at the University of Wisconsin at Madison on Oct. 13. Other stops include Atlanta (Sept. 22), Austin, TX (Sept. 27), Phoenix (Oct. 5) and Minneapolis (Oct. 11.).

The Boston vending exhibit was held at Prudential Plaza on Boylston Street, where it attracted crowds during its five-hour run under sunny skies. Visitors included Generation Y consumers (ages 18-29), the NAMA campaign's main demographic target.

Friday's forecast for New York City is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of 67°.
