SOMERSET, NJ -- U.S. Rep. Rush Holt (D-NJ) toured Promotion In Motion Co.'s recently expanded 17-acre manufacturing facility here. The New Jersey politician got a behind-the-scenes peek at the candy-making processes for several brands that are prominent in vending.
The New Jersey company produces licensed products like Welch's Fruit Snacks and Sun-Maid chocolate-covered raisins. Its own brands include Sour Jacks soft and chewy candies and Juicefuls juice-filled fruit snack.
Promotion In Motion, which ranks as one of the world's 100 largest candy firms, was recently listed in NJBiz magazine's Top 100 Privately Held Companies of 2012 and ranks as one of the world's 100 largest candy companies.
