Breakroom Provisions Enhances Management With Anti-Theft Widget, iPod Touch Handheld

Breakroom Provisions, micro market, vending HICKORY, NC -- Breakroom Provisions has added new tools and features to its DASH micromarket management interface to enhance controls and facilitate the process for operators.

The company's DASH interface features management tools and reports that allow operators to monitor key business metrics in real time from remote locations using tablets, mobile devices or PCs.

New to the DASH interface is the Anti-Theft Widget, which allows operators to monitor suspicious customer activity remotely.

Also new is the DASH Dynamic Promotion feature, which offers vendors a user-friendly solution for creating and implementing promotions and rewards programs.

Additionally, Breakroom Provisions now offers an iPod Touch handheld, which enables operators to manage day-to-day processes using a technology platform with which many of them are familiar. As a PCI-PA-DSS certified solution, the system ensures that all transactions and data are secure.

Breakroom Provisions' self-checkout system is capable of integrating full-scale manual foodservice and retail points of sale. It offers fully customized micromarket packages, as well as other turnkey solutions.

In addition to providing operators with the hardware, software and retail equipment necessary to integrate micromarkets into their operations, Breakroom Provisions provides consulting services and operational support to help ensure a smooth transition.

"Three years ago, we were working with operators, trying to break the mold of the traditional vending program," said Breakroom Provisions president Kevin Bailey. "Now, we have operators who are challenging the existing micromarket service model by creating customized, fully integrated self-checkout solutions for vending, foodservice and retail locations. Bailey said the company is on track to install 120 to 150 new micromarkets in 2013.
