ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL -- Unified Strategies Group is planning a series of seminars to help its members make more effective use of its Web-based tools and introduce them to the new supplier programs initiated during 2014.
The schedule is:
» Sept. 10: St. Louis, MO, in conjunction with the USG Technology 101 seminar
» Oct. 2: Myrtle Beach, SC, in conjunction with the Atlantic Coast Exposition
» Nov. 11: Dallas, TX, in conjunction with NAMA's Coffee Tea & Water symposium
The membership seminars will cover USG's PurchasePower 3.0, being released this fall, and Performance Central, a new tool to help members manage their program compliance. It will also describe micromarket incremental rebates and promotions, along with USG's enhanced site-navigation system and new order center. USG said the seminars are all focused on increased rebate earnings to help its members achieve a more competitive cost of goods.
"It is our responsibility to create the maximum rebate-earning capability for the independent vending operators who are the member/owners of USG," said Chris Stave, vice-president of the purchasing cooperative. "And to further that mission, we take our message on the road to meet with as many USG members as possible."
